As a newborn photographer, I strive to capture those first few weeks and turn the resulting images into a work of fine art to be treasured forever. Newborn photography requires a large amount of planning and an insane amount of patience, and you’ll be happy to know I am good at both. :)
I have been photographing newborns since 2008 and have attended over 100 workshops and seminars with at least 10 of those being focused entirely on newborn photography and safety. I take my job seriously and my main focus is on photographing your baby safely. All of our props are baby friendly meaning they have been weighted down to prevent tipping, padded for babys comfort and sanitized before every session. I also make sure to have hands on baby the entire time we place them “in” or “on” a prop.
Custom photography is simply that… a custom experience tailored to suit you, your style, your personality and your needs. When I am contacted for a newborn photography session far enough in advance of the actual session date that is scheduled, I have the luxury of ordering props such as hats, blankets, baskets, etc that are suited entirely for your session. You can not walk into a cookie-cutter studio and expect them to have a hand-made headband that matches the theme in your baby’s nursery and even pair that headband with a backdrop that fits your color scheme. With custom photography (and enough time beforehand!) that is entirely possible!
