Let's be honest. Mommin' is just plain hard. We are running most days from daylight to dark just trying to keep up with laundry, meals, bills, appointments, family time, bath time, bed times! The list is exhaustive and never-ending. As a mom to 3 grown bio kids I SO wish I had documented the things they loved most at certain stages in their life! I don't remember their favorite toys or activities. You think you'll never forget but the reality is that you never remember. When 20 years have passed, you will look back and you might remember the big stuff like the day a nurse told your 18 month old that he talked really well for his age and his comeback was "Yes, I enunciate my words." ... OR the very first formal dance your daughter attended in her beautiful black beaded princess dress ... OR the time when your 6 year old jumped up on the table at Sonic and decided to show everyone how well she could dance.
But the times spent on the floor doing a favorite puzzle or the endless hours spent talking about PJ Mask and all things dinosaur? Those are the times that drift by because you just don't think they are THAT important. Recently I photographed our bonus kids with their most favorite current item and printed them big to hang on my wall. It's the little things I don't want to forget. The pink and blue snuggle bear that reminds me of bedtime prayers and the sweetness of her voice when she prays for her Mommy ... her long dark lashes closing in sleep after playing so hard all day. Those are the things in life worth remembering.
As you walk into my dining room, just on the right there's an 8 foot wall ... on it are my framed portraits of the kids. As I walk by I'm struck by the beauty and the flood of feeling it brings as I think about all of the little things that make them who they are. I wish I could bottle up that feeling and send it to you all. I may not be able to bottle it up but I can share it with you.

Introducing the Lovey Collective
Let me introduce our newest series ... "The Lovey Collective". The purpose of this session is to give you the same thing for your home that I have in mine. A picture of innocence and a forever memory of who your child is right now. Here in this very moment. There's no long, drawn out session ... no 20 images to choose from ... no deciding whether you want a usb, a printed picture, or trying to figure out something to do with the files.
There IS a short session for me to watch your child through my lens and capture EXACTLY who they are right now. To give to you what's so precious to me. A beautiful, hand-retouched fine art wall portrait for your home so that as you walk by you will always remember.
When these moments become the past, this is what is left. The tangible reminder of what once was. Your session includes an 18" wall portrait which comes completely finished and ready to hang on your own wall as well as a moving portrait for sharing on Facebook & Insta.
